The challenge
RolloutIQ’s analysts were losing roughly half their day to ad-hoc coordination instead of analysis. The backlog process was manual: pulling data together, chasing the right people for the right pieces, and stitching it into something usable. The actual analytical work, the part that moves the business, kept getting pushed to the edges of the day.
Approach
Lagarsoft replaced the manual backlog process with an automation pipeline tailored to how RolloutIQ’s analysts actually work. The pipeline takes over the coordination that used to live in inboxes, spreadsheets, and follow-up messages, so the work that previously consumed half the day disappears into infrastructure.
What we built
- Automation pipeline replacing RolloutIQ’s manual backlog process
- Project and Request for Information views shaped around how analysts triage work
- Coordination workflows moved out of email threads into the application
- A workflow surface the analyst team uses as their primary view
Outcome
The half-day of coordination overhead went away. Analysts got that time back for the analytical work that actually moves the business, which is what they were hired to do. The change is structural: the work itself moved into the pipeline rather than being made faster by adding people.
“They are true thought partners who bring a rare combination of business understanding and technical expertise to every conversation.”
Frequently asked
- What was RolloutIQ’s pre-Lagarsoft workflow?
- A manual backlog process where analysts spent about half their day on ad-hoc coordination, pulling data and following up across people and tools, before the actual analysis could begin.
- What did Lagarsoft build?
- An automation pipeline that replaced that manual backlog. Coordination work that used to live across inboxes and spreadsheets now happens inside the application, on top of analyst-shaped project and RFI workflows.
- Is RolloutIQ still using it?
- Yes. The platform is in production at RolloutIQ. Lagarsoft’s engagement covered the end-to-end build with the analyst team driving the design.
