The challenge
Owners of property-maintenance businesses — typically 5 to 100 trucks, including franchise and multi-location operators — run on ServiceTitan but need a focused set of operational numbers to talk through at owner meetings. The pre-Scorecard workflow was to export ServiceTitan reports and assemble the dashboards by hand in Excel. Building those dashboards was painful and time-consuming, and it had to happen ahead of every meeting.
Approach
Lagarsoft built the Scorecard as a separate application on top of ServiceTitan rather than a plugin inside it. A standalone app supports a richer UI and product-specific workflows — notifications, goal setting, prices for top performers — that would not fit cleanly inside ServiceTitan’s surfaces. After validating the constraints of ServiceTitan’s sync API, the data pipeline was structured around scheduled report exports delivered by email, then parsed and stored; live API calls back the cases where the report data is not sufficient.

Outcome
Owners stopped spending hours assembling dashboards before each meeting and started showing up with the numbers already in front of them. Decisions about staffing, pricing, and goals get made on current data instead of on what got pulled together the night before. The Scorecard has been in production for over a year and is in maintenance-only mode for the businesses using it.

- Daily. ServiceTitan reports export on a schedule, the Scorecard parses and stores the data, and the dashboards reflect the previous day’s activity each morning.

- Yes. One account can cover multiple locations or franchise units, with separate scorecards per location while owners see the consolidated picture.
- How long does setup take?
- Less than half a day for a typical onboarding. The pre-built KPIs work once the ServiceTitan connection is configured.
